Ratings and reviews

Star ratings built on WordPress comments.

Readers rate a recipe with stars when they leave a comment. A rating on its own (no text) is allowed, and replies never count as ratings.

Because reviews are WordPress comments, moderation, spam filtering and replies work the way you already know (Comments in your dashboard). You can edit a review’s rating there.

The average shows on the recipe card, and once a recipe has approved reviews, Google receives it too (the stars in search results).
