The recipe card looks off in my theme

Colors, overrides, and the free Recipe Paper theme.

The recipe card brings its own styles and takes your theme’s fonts where it can. If something clashes:

  • Colors and spacing: the card uses CSS variables (they start with --rwp-), so a few lines of custom CSS can restyle it.
  • Full control: copy templates/recipe-card.php from the plugin to your-theme/recipe-wp/recipe-card.php and edit it there.
  • Card showing twice: your theme may already place the card. Turn off Automatic card under Recipes → Settings.
